經濟部：1千1百家越南台廠被迫停工

越南排華活動，台商人人自危！經濟部投資處處長連玉蘋指出，據經濟部統計，目前越南台商共有2287家，估計這次逾1百家台商遭到波及；其中，平陽70家、同奈30家、胡志明市6家、頭頓市1家。當中有11家台商的廠房或廠區遭到縱火，而基於安全考量，目前有1100間台商工廠被迫停工。

不過連玉蘋指出，目前蒐集到的資料顯示，因暴動已經逐漸平息，不少業者已決定陸續復工；雖然現在傳出518暴動將串聯再起，但目前經濟部駐外單位已向當地政府反映，越南公安也已介入協調，希望平息全國串連活動。（黃馨儀／台北報導）
