俄與立陶宛 相互中止軍事檢查協定

繼俄羅斯5日宣布中止俄國與立陶宛之間的軍事檢查協定後，立陶宛6日反擊，也宣布中止立這項協定，並表示俄羅斯此舉將使東歐緊張情勢更加升高。

俄羅斯在立陶宛境內的加里寧格勒擁有一塊「飛地」，並有駐軍。依據2001年雙方的軍事檢查協定，立陶宛有權檢查當地的俄軍，也允許俄羅斯檢查立陶宛的軍隊。但俄羅斯5日宣布中止協定。

立陶宛外長林奇維休斯表示，「這又是一次錯誤的方向及作法。由於目前情勢已高度緊張，每走一步都應考慮政治責任，因此希望他們 (俄國)能重新考慮。」
