小聯盟投捕搭捕大聯盟同場建功，捕手的John Ryan Murphy生涯首轟，Dellin Betances生涯首勝，洋基4比3擊敗天使。

「我覺得沒有比這更好的事了。」John Ryan Murphy說。

另外David Robertson也拿下他離開傷兵名單之後的首場救援成功，雖然第九局情勢一度有些緊張。

九局下半一人出局之後，Mike Trout擊出安打，並且盜上二壘。

Albert Pujols接著打出界外飛球，一壘手Mark Teixeira跑到觀眾席旁邊準備接球，但卻被兩名洋基球迷給妨礙。

「我可以了解，大家都想要球，」洋基總教練Joe Girardi說，「不過這種事，不是在自家主場想要見到的。」

這球當然很可惜，不過David Robertson接下來仍然解決掉Albert Pujols，讓他打出高飛球被接殺，最後再三振Howie Kendrick，成功救起這場比賽。
