嘉義市環保局推出手機「嘉市環保e起來」App，將垃圾車以GPS定位，市民可即時掌握最近位置，精準預估垃圾車到達時刻。

嘉義市環保局長林建宏今天表示，「垃圾車位置即時查詢」搭配GPS裝置，讓民眾透過App可以知道目前收運中的39輛垃圾車位置，民眾可以在家中輕鬆等待，不需匆忙追趕丟垃圾。

環保局指出，「垃圾車位置即時查詢」提供嘉義市39條收運路線所有垃圾車位置，點選「我的位置」、偵測出現於所在位置後，App將提供方圓1公里內執勤中的垃圾車位置，輕鬆幫民眾找到最近的垃圾車。

民眾也可將自家或地圖上任一地設為「自建點」，App可顯示出方圓500公尺內執勤中的垃圾車位置，倒垃圾時只要看App，就可掌握垃圾車現在行進的位置，不怕錯過垃圾車，也不用提前等待。

環保局表示，這項App服務，還提供大型廢棄物清運通報、空氣污染指標、機車排氣檢驗站、電動機車免費充電站、綠色商店、舊衣回收點、紫外線觀測資訊等多元的環保訊息。

林建宏說，「嘉市環保e起來」App將於明天世界地球日上架，上架後每月更新修改，讓市民更容易、便利取得嘉義市環保資訊。(中央社)
