（中央社華盛頓18日綜合外電報導）白宮今天說，總統歐巴馬下週訪問亞太四國，此行將聚焦在更緊密關係的經濟利益。美聯社說，由於俄羅斯和烏克蘭間的緊張情勢，可能會使區域安全議題比原先預期的更受關注。

美國國家安全顧問萊斯（Susan Rice）今天說：「總統此行是強調我們持續重視亞太地區的的重要機會。」

她說：「亞太是世界最大的新興地區，歐巴馬總統持續進行向亞太地區再平衡的戰略。」

歐巴馬此次訪問亞太四國，頭兩站是日本和南韓，四國行程共計8天。

路透社報導，美國行政部門高階官員今天說，總統歐巴馬下週訪日時與日本首相安倍晉三會談，對兩國貿易協商有推助作用，但屆時不會簽署協定。

美國和日本貿易官員將於21日再度會談，討論雙邊貿易談判中的爭點。兩國貿易談判延宕，推遲了10餘國跨太平洋夥伴協定（TPP）談判的時程。

這位高階官員說，談判至今已成功界定一組待決議題，但雙方立場仍有很多且重要的歧見。(中央社)
