（中央社洛杉磯10日綜合外電報導）美國哥倫比亞廣播公司（CBS）電視網今天宣布，電視節目主持人及諧星史蒂芬柯貝爾已經簽約，將接下「深夜秀」（LateShow）節目的主持棒，取代明年退休的大衛賴特曼。

CBS表示，柯貝爾（Stephen Colbert）已簽下5年合約。49歲的柯貝爾目前在深夜電視節目「柯貝爾報告」（The Colbert Report）中扮演保守派的電視評論員，這個節目在有線電視台喜劇中央頻道（ComedyCentral ）播出。

66歲的賴特曼（David Letterman）上週在節目中宣布，明年與CBS合約期滿時將告別這個節目。CBS的大衛賴特曼深夜秀1993年開播，明年將是第22年播出。

柯貝爾上週曾鬧出新聞，他在柯貝爾報告節目中搞笑反種族歧視，發言卻弄巧成拙，變成嘲弄亞裔美國人，引發網友上社群網站表達不滿，他後來辯稱只是模仿。(中央社)
