抗議吞克里米亞 美與盟國把俄踢出G8

白宮24日發表聲明，指稱鑑於俄羅斯從烏克蘭手中併吞克里米亞，違反國際原則，歐巴馬總統與其他世界領袖決定中止俄國的八大工業國(G8)會員國身分。

聲明指出：「國際法禁止利用強制手段併吞其他國家的部分領土，此種行為違反國際原則。我們譴責克里米亞的公投案，因為它違反烏克蘭憲法。」把俄羅斯踢出G8集團，是西方大國針對併吞克里米亞行為又一直接打擊俄國的措施。但俄國外長拉夫羅夫稍早表示，把俄國踢出G8集團，不是什麼大不了的事情。
