日租房背包客中毒死　房東被訴

去年底加拿大籍女子Elizabeth(35歲)，來台欣賞台北101跨年煙火秀，並從國際日租套房網站「Airbnb
」挑中北市延吉街日租套房，當她住進去後，因為熱水器一氧化碳中毒，不幸中毒身亡，檢察官調查後，認為房東林政緯、柯昱偉有過失，依業務過失致死罪起訴。

檢警查出，該日租房有2間套房，原先房屋走道被打掉，只有加籍背包客所住的房間有門通往陽台的熱水器，而林、柯又在陽台裝氣密窗並緊閉，房間形同密室，加上熱水器未裝強制排氣裝置，無法排出燃燒廢氣，以致一氧化碳直接灌入死者房內，造成這起死亡事件。(呂志明／台北報導）
