自由之家指總統發動政爭 法務部澄清

美國「自由之家（Freedom House）」今年1月23日發表的「2014年世界各國自由度調查報告」指出，2013年台灣仍是自由度表現最佳之亞洲國家之一，台灣公民社會已更進一步影響主流政策。法務部指出，這是政府繼續保持及努力的方向。

自由之家的報告指出，2013年9月馬英九總統根據最高法院檢察署特偵組指控，試圖拉下立法院院長王金平並離開國民黨，引發政治危機。

法務部認為，這是少部分偏頗人士的臆測、污衊之詞，最高檢察署及法務部自去年九月以來，多次對外聲明該案是單純法律事件，與馬英九總統指示發動政爭無關。
