婦頸部腫瘤如足球　忍20年才割

英國有一名79歲老婦人海荷(Joyce Haigh)，頸部長了一個重2公斤、如足球般大的腫瘤，但鑑於不痛，而且羞於看醫生，海荷20年來一直沒有求醫，直至去年10月，腫瘤開始出血，她才在丈夫堅持下找醫生。

據英國《每日郵報》報導，耳鼻喉外科醫生卡拉西(Muhamad Quraishi)花了5小時將腫瘤切除，正進行化驗，卡拉西指海荷的腫瘤可能是英國有紀錄以來最大的。海荷的巨瘤切除後，雖然需要繼續接受治療，但她如釋重負，坦言以後出門不再擔心被人嘲笑或冷眼對待。（施旖婕／綜合外電報導）
