【李子凡／綜合報導】演技收放自如的金獎影后「梅姨」梅莉史翠普（Meryl Streep）剛以《八月心風暴》獲得第18次金獎提名，創下影史紀錄，她在奧斯卡公布入圍名單後接受艾倫狄珍妮訪問，艾倫問她：「妳怎麼知道的？妳會守在電話旁等消息嗎？」她表示：「不，我睡得超熟的，因為我不覺得我有機會（入圍）。」這種違心之論，說出來恐怕連她自己都不會相信，媒體也聽不下去揶揄：「真的嗎？梅姨？」
 
她擅長轉換各種口音與語氣被稱為「九官鳥」，艾倫在節目上要她分別以性感的女人語氣唸食譜、即將臨盆的孕婦語氣報路況，以及用小屁孩的口吻瞎說一通，她完全不用準備，讓所有人見識超群演技。
