野茂英雄入選日本棒球名人堂

【賴德剛／綜合報導】儘管野茂英雄無法入選美國棒球名人堂，但昨天日本棒球名人堂將他、秋山幸二與佐佐木主浩3人選為今年得主，且野茂也成為日本棒球名人堂史上最年輕的得主。
 
今年名人堂票選共有324人投票，野茂拿下267票、得票率82.4%，秋山與佐佐木則分別拿下257票與255票，且野茂英雄以45歲又4個月的年齡，超越已故的日本棒球大老川上哲治的45歲又8個月，成為名人堂最年輕的得主，他與佐佐木都具有大聯盟經驗。
