有這種事？贊助商要球隊砍球員

【王毓健／綜合報導】職業足球會通常由體育總監或教練率領的專業團隊負責競技方面運作，球員去留也取決於他們，但英格蘭超級聯賽傳出贊助商要求球隊裁人，否則撤廣告罕見案例。
 
據英國《每日郵報(Daily Mail)》報導，西布朗維奇(West Bromwich Albion FC)贊助商、房仲網站Zoopla老闆切斯特曼(A. Chesterman)要求球隊開除法國籍主力前鋒安內爾卡(Nicolas Anelka)，因為他在比賽中做出納粹手勢「肉湯圓(Quenelle，法語)」。
 
「肉湯圓」是一手觸肩、一手指地，這被猶太人視為含有貶低和反猶太人含意，而切斯特曼正是猶太人。
 
西布朗維奇本季才簽下安內爾卡，並給他250萬英鎊隊內最高年薪；不過Zoopla每年贊助300萬英鎊，是球會球衣最主要金主。
