【王毓健／高雄報導】2014年台苯男子桌球明星邀請賽4強戰展開，首場由臺灣一哥莊智淵與世界第6、德國奧恰洛夫(D. Ovtcharov)對決，重演前年倫敦奧運單打爭銅牌戲碼。第4局莊智淵以11比8告捷，局數以3比1率先聽牌。
 
雙方在更進入比賽狀態後棋逢敵手，很少有任一方能拉開比分。奧恰洛夫一度7比4領先，但未能掌握優勢趁勝追擊。8比8平手後，奧恰洛夫正手拍發力連續失誤，讓莊智淵連下3分取得聽牌局勝利。
