降低事故　倫敦擬建天空單車道

【張翠蘭／綜合外電報導】英國倫敦單車風行，但因人多路擠，意外頻傳。英國名建築師諾曼福斯特的團隊，最近提出「天空單車道」計劃，沿著倫敦現有市郊鐵路，在軌道上方、約莫3層樓高處興建10條高架的單車道，總長221公里，可讓旅程時間縮短29分鐘，讓都市單車族安全又便利。

倫敦目前平均單車限速為時速16公里，預計在天空單車道上可提高至24公里，而規劃中的10條車道，每條每小時可容納1.2萬名單車族，將大幅改善都市內交通擁塞情況，同時也可以降低事故風險。

不過單車慈善團體CTC指出，此車道高度太高，須征服陡峭爬坡才能抵達，且還須克服高處較強的風速。
