澳洲職棒冠軍隊第1次擊敗韓國職棒冠軍，也是第1次晉級亞職大賽冠軍賽，將於20日迎戰樂天vs.統一的勝隊。
韓國冠軍三星獅此役輸球後，已被摒除在冠軍戰門外，結束本屆賽事。
