沙國拒任UN安理會理事國　約旦申請補空缺

【簡嘉宏／綜合外電報導】約旦政府18日宣佈將申請競選聯合國安理會非常任理事國，以填補沙烏地阿拉伯之前拒絕出任所遺留的空缺。
 
根據約旦外交部的聲明，約旦外交部長猶德（Nasser Judeh）18日已與聯合國秘書長潘基文通過電話，表達約旦政府已正式提出申請，競選2014-2015年度安理會非常任理事國的席位。
 
沙烏地阿拉伯原本在上月17日的第68屆聯合國大會中當選2014-2015年度安理會非常任理事國之一。但沙國外交部於隔天突然宣佈拒絕出任，理由為安理會在國際衝突中的不作為，引發國際社會關注。
