【動新聞】味元賣過期澱粉　25公噸下肚

【方翊倩／綜合報導】北檢據報查出台灣魚漿最大進口商味元食品，過去一年涉以換貼包裝更改有效期限方式，賣出二十五公噸過期修飾澱粉，恐已製成素食貢丸、肉丸、百頁豆腐等食品被消費者吞下肚。

今日出版的《蘋果》報導，味元食品早年販售食用澱粉起家，後來發現進口魚漿更有利可圖，因而在中國廈門設立辦事處，成為全台最大魚漿進口商。檢調查出，味元將過期的進口型號HA-500修飾澱粉，換包裝冒充ENPN-850型號澱粉，並偽造保存期限。莊錦墉昨坦承貪圖蠅頭小利而犯案，並感到懊悔。北檢清查黑心澱粉主要賣給全台小型雜糧行、食品加工廠等二十六家業者，不法獲利約七十萬元，昨複訊後諭令莊一百五十萬元交保。
