人造衛星殘骸已墜地　並未造成傷亡

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】歐洲太空總署(European Space Agency)先前表示，將有一枚人造衛星在10日傍晚到11日間墜落地面。今天(11日)上午約8時，衛星順利進入大氣層，支解的殘骸已經墜落西伯利亞、太平洋西部、印度洋東部南極大陸等人跡罕見處，並未造成傷亡。

這顆衛星重1100公斤，任務是協助繪製地球引力。由於該人造衛星在上個月已經耗境燃料，待距離地球80公里處遠時，衛星就會開始解體。
