羅東鎮公所8日晚假展演廳舉辦102年「環保變變變」創意競賽，共有來自高中職、國中、國小及幼兒園等各級學校、團體計700多人報名參賽，各隊運用環保回收材料，結合藝術與人文表演精采短劇，各展創意及巧思，喚起各界共同做環保。

「環保變變變」競賽，迄今已邁入第8年，今年計有29隊報名，分為特教組2隊、國小低年級組4隊、國小中年級組2隊、國小高年級組8隊、國中組8隊、高中組2隊、社會組3隊。表演短劇主題包括垃圾減量、資源回收、節能減碳、清淨家園、病媒蚊防治、愛護地球等等議題，並由評審選出「環保創意獎」14支優勝隊伍。

羅東鎮長林姿妙表示，該鎮已連續3年獲得全國資源回收、垃圾減量競賽冠軍，這是全體鎮民共同努力的成果，令人感到相當欣慰，希望藉由這次活動，讓大家更加認識身邊的資源回收物，並賦予它們新的生命，進而養成動手做環保的好習慣，共同維護週遭環境整潔，提昇生活環境品質。
