買外幣保單　留意匯率風險

 【廖珮君／台北報導】金管會保險局副局長張玉煇說，民眾買外幣保單，需注意匯率風險，包括保單計價幣別國家的政經情勢、自身承受匯率風險能力、及未來是否有外幣需求3大因素。
 
目前市面上銷售的外幣投資型及傳統型保單多屬中長期契約，保單存續期短則6年，長則達數十年。
 
張玉煇說，外幣保單的保費、保險給付、保單借款、費用等各項款項，收付幣別都是外幣，然而匯率變化難以預測，受益人未來領取保險金時，有可能因保單計價的外幣貶值，弱勢外幣換為強勢台幣後，產生匯兌損失。
