〔自由時報記者卓佳萍／綜合報導〕「湖人一哥」布萊恩新球季年薪逾3千萬美元，成為NBA史上最昂貴的球星，下一季他將成為自由球員，湖人副總裁巴斯表示，布萊恩會留下。

明年球季布萊恩的去留成為媒體炒作焦點，巴斯昨做出回應，「我希望討論可以到此結束，布萊恩是湖人隊傳奇，球隊會優先考量他，未來爭冠之路不能少了他。」湖人隊昨以111：106擊退爵士，季前賽4勝4負，比上季季前賽零勝亮眼。

布萊恩日前在推特更換顯示圖為「1225」，有人推論是他預告歸期，另一說法則是ESPN預測湖人排西部第12名，布萊恩諷刺回應：「是我寵物的生日。」此外，從戰力前10名掉到第25名，布萊恩表示，這數字非常愚蠢，也很可笑，「但我願意接受這個挑戰。」
