兄弟象隊19日宣布將轉手消息，引發中職重大震撼，讓許多象迷依依不捨，由於位於慶城街的兄弟象隊官方專賣店沒有開門，所以不少象迷都擠進兄弟大飯店的商品部，搶購象隊商品。

來自台北的李先生一家，是從職棒元年就看球的死忠象迷，對於心愛球隊即將轉手，他說：「真的很捨不得。」

提到當初支持兄弟象隊的過程，他說：「當初中職元年上半季三商虎隊奪冠，下半季墊底的是兄弟象隊，所以我就支持他們。」

李先生的妻子也是職棒迷，不過他過去支持的味全龍、興農牛隊都已經不在，只好轉而支持義大犀牛隊。

她認為球隊轉手若是對球員有保障，也或許會帶給球員更好的環境，未必是壞事。

其他象迷也趕來掃貨，除了球衣、球帽外，其他週邊商品也吸引許多球迷購買。
