【王翊亘／綜合報導】前統一獅洋投威廉，今天先發出戰美聯東區強隊光芒，先發6.1局送出7次三振、2次四死球，被擊出6支安打失掉2分，優質先發的表現，幫助天使以6比2擊敗光芒。
 
威廉先發6.1局，僅在3局上被擊出3支安打失掉2分，其餘局數皆能封鎖光芒攻勢，奪下本季第6勝。反觀光芒派出王牌投手普萊斯(David Price)先發，表現還不如威廉，普萊斯先發7局被擊出11支安打，失掉6分吞下敗投。
