紐國同性婚上路 澳同志喜結連理

（路透威靈頓19日電）澳洲的坎德勒和麥卡錫2年前決定訂婚時，就料到大概得赴海外結連理。紐西蘭同性婚姻法今天生效後，兩人就在離家2200公里的紐西蘭首都威靈頓完婚。

坎德勒（Trent Kandler）和麥卡錫（PaulMcCarthy）今天身穿三件式西裝搭配粉紅色領帶，在威靈頓Te Papa國家博物館步上紅毯。 麥卡錫婚禮後告訴紐西蘭廣播電台（Radio NewZealand）：「我們的關係在親朋好友前獲得承認。」他還說：「我深感自豪。」中央社（翻譯）
