巴菲特出手獵兔　旗下房仲商購併同業擴張

【陳智偉／綜合外電報導】巴菲特（Warren Buffett）不久前宣告，未來會更頻繁執行能增加公司獲利空間的小型購併案，支持旗下經理人自行開發機會，周三旗下房仲事業美國住宅服務公司（HomeServices of America）立即出手購併另1家小型同業Prudential Fox & Roach，金額未公開。
 
美國住宅服務號稱美國第2大整體住宅服務仲介商，Prudential Fox & Roach則是第5大業者。美國住宅服務1999年隨著中美能源（MidAmerican）併入波克夏海瑟威（Berkshire Hathaway），並持續購併各地同業擴大事業規模。
 
巴菲特2年前用獵象比喻將投入大型購併，但近來缺乏大型購併案，轉而專注較小的收購機會。《華爾街日報》日前以漫畫呈現，巴菲特獵到的大象少了，小兔子、小鴨子變多了。
