僑宴激動致辭 馬：我不是什麼了不起的人

【陳郁仁／巴拉圭報導】總統馬英九在巴拉圭時間14日中午，與當地僑胞舉行僑宴。馬在僑宴上發表演說，充滿自信地提到此次出訪過境紐約，是歷來美國最高規格接待，顯示台美信心恢復，且兩岸關係又和緩。說到激動處，馬還說出，「外交工作艱困，殺出一條血路不容易」「我馬英九不是什麼了不起的人，只是希望八年幫台灣打造和平穩定的外在環境」、「讓中華民國成為一個受人尊敬的國家」。

馬總統還提到他稍早與巴拉圭新任總統卡提斯見面，卡提斯說巴拉圭不只是希望獲得台灣援助，希望有一天也可回饋台灣，所以兩國決定成立互助委員會。
