愛爾蘭哥威爾賽馬大會這周開跑，當地媒體現場採訪，剛好遇到下雨，一名站在受訪人後面的男子，拿出50歐元紙鈔，約近2000台幣，充當面紙擦拭雨滴，成為當天報導最熱門人物。

其他媒體還諷刺報導表示顯然當地面紙和手帕嚴重短缺，而且據傳這名男子隨後燒掉這張50歐元紙鈔，因為他擔心丟到垃圾桶，會被窮人撿走。
