道奇王牌Clayton Kershaw強投壓陣，Hanley Ramirez兩分紅不讓，道奇2比1力克紅人，紅人的Homer Bailey在無安打比賽之後，吞下4連敗。
道奇在國聯西區，繼續保持對響尾蛇半場的領先，在6月21日時，原來他們還落後排名第一有12場勝差，但從那之後，道奇打出全大聯盟最佳24勝6敗的戰績。
去年才從馬林魚來到此地的Hanley Ramirez，本季雖然兩度進入傷兵名單，但在47場比賽當中打出3成87，11支全壘打，33分打點的好成績。
「自從我被交易來到這裡之後，所有的事情都改變了，甚至我的人生，」Hanley Ramirez說，「可以跟這些隊友在一起，真的太難以置信了。」
Clayton Kershaw則是主投8局，只被打出6支安打，三振8次，無保送，拿下本季第10勝，全大聯盟領先的防禦率，再下降到1.96，這名2011年的賽揚強投，近6場比賽5勝1敗，防禦率只有1.72。
「他們是一支很棒的球隊，打線堅強，」Clayton Kershaw形容紅人，「重點就是中心棒次，不可以給他們任何機會。」
紅人的先發投手Homer Bailey就悲情了，其實這場比賽他投得很好，7局被打7支安打，5次三振，1次保送，只失掉兩分，無安打比賽真的有毒？在那之後吞下4連敗。 (接下一頁)
