國際半導體設備材料產業協會（Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International，SEMI）今公布8月北美半導體設備製造商訂單出貨值（Book-to-Bill Ratio，訂單出貨比）為1.04，較上月的1.07略為下滑，雖出現連2個月向下滑落走勢，但仍連續11個月站穩在1以上，顯示包括晶圓代工及封測等半導體產業擴廠需求穩健。
 
據SEMI統計，8月北美半導體設備商3個月平均訂單金額為13.5億美元，較7月14.2億美元下滑5%，較去年同期10.6億美元成長26.5%；8月北美半導體設備商3個月平均出貨金額則達12.9億美元，較7月的13.2億美元下滑2%，較去年同期10.8億美元成長19.5%。
 
針對近期B/B值表現上，SEMI總裁暨執行長Denny McGuirk指出，SEMI的訂單與出貨比已連續11個月站在1或以上，而訂單與出貨持續成長趨勢遠高於2013年的水準，今年晶圓廠及封測廠都可看到強勁的設備支出需求。（蕭文康／台北報導）
