法國巴黎11日舉行反恐遊行，370萬民眾參與、逾40國元首親身蒞臨支持，以示全球團結，和法國站在同一陣線，對抗恐怖主義，不過，法國的重要盟友美國，總統歐巴馬和國務卿凱瑞卻沒有出席，改由美國駐法大使代表，引發不少批評。

正出訪印度的國務卿凱瑞對此回應表示，將於15日離開印度16日到巴黎，出席反恐研討會，他又認為外間的批評是吹毛求疵，表示因為印度行早已安排好，他很想親自到場，所以結束印度行後會直接到法國，以展現美國對此事件有多重視。

法國總統歐蘭德辦公室人員接受CNN訪問時也替歐巴馬辯護指，在事件發生當天，歐蘭德即接到歐巴馬的電話，雖然沒有親自到法國，但歐巴馬一直都相當關注事件發展，上周也造訪的法國位於華盛頓的使館，讓法國充分感受到法美團結。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）

新北市一支重機車隊昨下午赴苗栗縣三義鄉車聚，回程時因一輛轎車閃避岔路口轎車減速，帶頭的蔡姓男子（47歲）追撞轎車後，連人帶車摔飛到對向車道，慘遭另一輛轎車輾壓，送醫不治，檢警上午將相驗調查死因。

警方調查，蔡男和十多名車友，昨下午2時許自三義出發回北部，蔡男騎著去年8月花近70萬，才新買的Kawasaki 知名的忍者車款領頭，疑似未保持安全距離，遇到前方林姓男子轎車為閃避岔路口白色轎車，突然減速才追撞，蔡連人帶車摔倒到對向車道，對向蕭姓男子轎車被重機碰撞，蕭一時驚慌失措輾壓蔡後，一度駛離現場被車友追回。

蔡男同行車友說，當時蔡倒在南下車道，蕭車左前輪輾過蔡的頭部後，下半身順勢被扯進車底輾壓，蕭竟「逃離」現場，被追數百公尺才回到事故現場。

蕭男則說，當時沒看到有人躺在車道，因右方有電桿，才緩慢直行，隱約感覺車底怪怪的，才「折返」現場，否認肇逃。（楊永盛／苗栗報導）
