北京時間7月1日晚間消息，惠普個人系統集團亞太區高級主管Yam Su Yin表示，惠普有意重新進入智能手機市場，因為惠普無法忽略這一市場。

惠普此前曾涉足智能手機業務，但並未獲得成功。不過這並未阻止惠普再次進行嘗試。而盡管市場上已有一些非常強大的競爭對手，但惠普仍將一試身手。
在接受印度報業托拉斯採訪時，對於惠普是否將開發新款智能手機的問題，Yam Su Yin表示：“答案是肯定的，但我無法給出時間表。如果我們做出否定的回答，那麼將非常愚蠢。惠普需要參與這一市場。”
惠普CEO梅格·惠特曼(Meg Whitman)去年也曾做出類似的表態。她去年9月表示，惠普重新開展智能手機業務只是時間問題。惠普於2011年8月停止了智能手機業務。惠特曼認為，如果惠普不重新發展智能手機業務，那麼很可能錯失一個規模龐大且非常重要的市場。
惠特曼表示：“我們最終將需要提供智能手機，因為在全球許多國家，這是你的第一台計算設備。你知道，一些國家的人們可能永遠不會擁有平板電腦、PC或案頭電腦。他們將在智能手機上完成一切。我們是一家計算設備公司，需要利用這類品帶來的機遇。”
很明顯，惠普目前仍持同樣的看法。不過尚不清楚的是，在市場已被蘋果公司和三星等廠商佔領的情況下，惠普將如何參與這一市場，尤其考慮到惠普曾在這一市場遭遇了嚴重失利。
不過Yam Su Yin認為，市場留給惠普的創新空間仍然很大，而惠普進入這一市場還為時不晚。她表示：“作為后發者，你需要創造不同的理念。仍有一些事情可以去做，時間還不晚。當惠普推出智能手機時，將給用戶帶來差異化的體驗。”惠普拒對這一說法置評。(維金)

【張欽╱台北報導】新北市北宜路蔡姓婦人，在家中養了一隻母雞，用來下蛋供自己吃，今年3月間，高姓鄰居潛入蔡婦家行竊，高男將母雞抱走，並竊取冰箱內的食物及屋內現金500元，台北地院今天依侵入住宅竊盜罪判高男半年，可易科罰金18萬元；仍可上訴。
蔡婦曾怒斥：「連我下蛋用的母雞都偷，真夭壽。」她指控，冰箱內的雞蛋、魚、蝦、豬肉、雞肉、水餃及香腸被搬得精光，警方在案發4小時後破案逮人，除了母雞還健在，高男已將偷得的食物全吃下肚，活雞事後已還給蔡婦。

【李子凡／綜合報導】美國女歌手「花蝴蝶」瑪麗亞凱莉（Mariah Carey）今天在黑人娛樂頻道獎（簡稱BET獎）擔任表演嘉賓，演唱新歌《美麗》。不久前才卸任歌唱選秀節目《美國偶像》評審一職的她，卻被質疑現場演出對嘴，有違實力派女歌手稱號。
花蝴蝶以她著名的海豚音花腔，在90年代成為與惠妮休斯頓、席琳狄翁並駕齊驅的西洋樂壇天后。她去年更以5.4億元台幣天價入主《美國偶像》當評審，卻與另一位評審妮琪米娜爆不合，兩人只擔任1季評審，都已請辭。
她在BET獎演唱時，被眼尖網友發現有一度只剩背景音樂，她的嘴唇卻還在動，推特馬上引爆她對嘴的質疑，遭發言人否認。
