| 談慰安婦 日前士兵：都是被剝奪自由的人

【綜合報導】日本在第二次世界大戰時，提供「慰安婦」給士兵藉慰，在戰爭後的68年，始終引發討論和爭議。日本《朝日新聞》日前訪問一名現年90多歲前士兵，回憶起與慰安婦相處的這一段，老人淡淡地道：「我們都是一群自由被剝奪的人。」
老人家回憶，當時他在中國東北服役，有次被帶到慰安所「玩樂」，由於慰安所的外觀是白牆，因此軍人又稱它為「白壁之家」。老人也說，當時的慰安婦多半來自朝鮮半島。
回憶起與慰安婦相處的這段，老人家說：「我們從軍時每天都抱著『看不到明天』的必死覺悟，而慰安婦們也一樣，我們大家都認為自己是消耗品，都是被剝奪自由的一群。」老人家也認為這都是戰爭悲歌。

【張麗娜／台北報導】香港「七一」遊行有43萬人上街爭取民主普選，民進黨主席蘇貞昌說，看香港43萬人上街頭，他既感動又感慨的說，感動的是香港700萬人口有43萬人上街，這是很高的比例，看他們有勇氣出面就是希望重回昔日自由、民主、法治的生活方式，「香港人民極力爭取的正是今天台灣人所擁有的」，但感慨的則是，「台灣政府卻一步步要把台灣香港化」，主權倒退的結果，讓台灣漸漸失去現在所擁有的，呼籲台灣人要珍惜。

【 顏振凱／台北報導】台聯黨中央昨撤銷林世嘉黨籍，台聯黨主席黃昆輝下午態度依然強硬，雖稱林在捍衛台灣主權、世衛議題上表現不錯，很欣賞她，但仍嗆：「政治就是這樣，不能犯大錯，一錯再錯」，還稱林一而再、再而三違反黨的決策，屢勸不聽，大大影響黨的運作，這樣下去一個黨團沒法運作下去。
黃昆輝受訪時不斷強調，《會計法》簽字，林世嘉事先沒向他報告，他是四黨主席中唯一不知情的。對媒體問林稱有向秘書長林志嘉報告，黃則說：「我事後了解，她簽字前沒告訴任何人，自己簽了。」

| 性侵14歲少女孌童男 當庭吞氰化物死

【綜合報導】43歲的美國密蘇里州男子帕森斯(Steve Parsons)，由於性侵一名14歲女童，遭到起訴，日前法院宣判，帕森斯被判處7年有期徒刑，就在此時，坐在被告席上的帕森斯和一旁的法警說，自己身體很不舒服，想要喝一口水，沒等法警反應，他就自行走下被告席、拿起一杯放在律師桌上的水喝了一口，接著就坐回位子。沒幾秒鐘，帕森斯整個背部弓起，並開始劇烈抽搐，法警連忙叫救護車，還沒送到醫院就已經失去生命跡象，急救無效死亡，死亡原因是氰化物(Cyanide)中毒。
事後調閱監視錄影帶才發現，帕森斯在走下被告席喝水時，偷在嘴裡塞了什麼東西，應該就是這個時候吞下了劇毒的氰化物。帕森斯在面對陪審團給予的判決執行前，先替自己執行了死刑。
事後警方在帕森斯的車上，找到一張寫著某化學藥品供應商電話的紙條，證實帕森斯前一天向這家公司購買了100mg的氰化物，並且用最快的深夜快遞送到家中。
