【潘志偉／新北報導】新北市一名20歲男盲胞，今天下午3時行經中和區時不慎摔落4公尺深下水道，工人發現趕緊報警，警消趕到現場將男子救上來。工人向警方表示，當時在做汙水下水道工程，周圍用圍籬隔起，入口處還用太空包阻擋，工程告一段落後才將太空包搬走，不料20秒不到，該盲男竟走過去且掉落洞內，工人大喊「小心！」還是來不及阻止，所幸盲男僅雙腳擦傷，送醫後無大礙。

| 為救3隻鴿 英消防局大陣仗挨批

【綜合報導】英國達勒姆郡有3隻白鴿被困在屋頂上，當局出動2輛消防車、9名消防員和1輛警車營救，被批評比救人救火還要大陣仗。
當地愛護動物組織人士，2日發現3隻白鴿在屋頂上，被網纏住腳動彈不得，於是向消防求助。消防局出動2組人馬前往現場，隨後消防員坐雲梯到屋頂，解救白鴿。
為了救3隻白鴿，消防局出動2輛消防車，造成交通阻礙，還勞動警察維持秩序，市民都大呼誇張，浪費人力物力。

【林師民／新竹報導】新竹縣新埔鎮一處透天厝，屋主在四樓頂樓蓋鐵皮鴿舍養鴿，下午疑因電線走火引發火警，對面鄰居發現起火報案，警消雖趕往滅火，但頂層鴿舍已燒得精光，約50隻養了半年多、準備比賽的鴿子，慘遭燒死，屋主損失數十萬元，無奈地說：「慘了！家裡搞成這樣，會被老婆罵死！」

| 日發現7陸艦 研判中俄將軍演

日本防衛省今天宣布，中國海軍驅逐艦、護衛艦等7艘軍艦從對馬附近北上。日本研判，這7艘中國軍艦將於5至12日在海參崴附近與俄羅斯軍方進行聯合演習。
日本防衛省統合幕僚監部表示，日本海上自衛隊的P3C反潛機昨天下午4時（台灣時間3時）左右，發現在長崎縣的下對馬西南方約150公里處海域有7艘中國軍艦航行。其中包括被喻為中國版神盾艦的新型軍艦「旅洋2型」。
這7艘軍艦後來穿越位於對馬及壹岐之間的對馬海峽，隨後駛離日本海。這7艘軍艦通行的是公海，在國際法上沒有問題。日本防衛省表示，上一次中國軍艦通過對馬海峽是在2011年8月。
