【綜合報導】廣州花都區約兩萬民眾19日遊行至區政府，抗議當局興建垃圾焚化廠。據報導，昨天下午6點，警察強行驅離，導致1人死亡，多人受傷。
 
據悉，當地政府打算在花都區獅嶺鎮前進村建焚化廠，15日起陸續有民眾遊行抗議，官方原允諾3天內給說法卻未如期實現，19日引發超過2萬人二度上街抗議。
 
抗議群眾於昨日上午9時聚集在區政府門前，要求官員出面協商，有示威者戴口罩，高舉抗議標語。報導提到，廣州幾乎調動全城警力駐守區政府前，拉封鎖線並架設拒馬，民眾沿路遊行可見公安持長槍警戒。
 
當天下午6時，警方展開驅離行動。民眾稱抗議者遭警方暴力驅散，至少5人受傷，另有1人被警察「活活打死」，「（公安）連催淚彈都沒使用，直接就打我們了。」
 
當地政府現已封鎖消息。包括新浪微博等網路也對「獅嶺」等搜尋字串進行封鎖。而網路上的抗議照片影片也大多遭快速刪除。

【李姿慧／台北報導】「哇！是老皮、飛天小女警，好可愛！」今上午高鐵月台尖叫聲不斷，原來是高鐵站內出現卡通列車。台灣高鐵2列新車今起投入營運，是高 鐵通車6年半來首度加入新血，其中高鐵將第31列新車打造成「歡樂卡通列車」，今起首航，全車內外彩繪卡通頻道人物，12節車廂外觀以不同的卡通做為彩繪主題，包括《探險活寶》的老皮、《飛天小女警》、《阿甘妙世界》等，車廂內包括座椅頭靠巾、紙杯、餐巾紙等，甚至服勤員的圍裙也都是卡通圖案，簡直是活動是兒童樂園。

另車廂第7節通道間設有「幸福傳遞站」郵筒，旅客可以在高鐵上寄出免費卡通主題的明信片並蓋上紀念郵戳，第5節車廂還首設車 廂哺乳室，第4和第12節車廂還有充電服務室，座椅餐桌還設計收納杯架。台灣高鐵表示，歡樂卡通列車今起首航投入營運，每天將開5到6班車，時刻表將於每 周一在官網上公布和訂票，票價與一般列車相同。

【蘇聖怡／台北報導】《聯合》報導，總統馬英九連任國民黨主席後，將修黨章為「總統兼任黨主席」。藍委蔡正元今在臉書表示，「雖不能說有什麼不對，但時機上會引起太多外界『不負責任』質疑」；蔡正元指出，外界會質疑，2014年若敗選，馬英九是否不必辭黨主席？2016敗選，馬英九是否不必負責把黨主席當到2017年？

蔡正元也指出，陳水扁也曾訂立民進黨黨主席的總統兼任條款，結果慘不忍睹，「國民黨有必要效顰學步嗎？」蔡正元認為，馬英九施政普遍不滿意，現在時機點訂定總統兼任條款，難逃動機可議的質疑，為何不交由下一位國民黨籍總統決定？

【綜合報導】日本周日舉行參議院改選，首相安倍晉三領導的自民黨執政聯盟，預料可取得大勝，不過安倍晉三絲毫不敢鬆懈，周六晚上到東京車站發表最後演說，為候選人站台拉票。安倍還表示，為了守護日本領土，現在正是時候修改憲法。

不過日本維新會黨魁之一、眾議員石原慎太郎因血壓不穩，臨時取消在東京街頭的助選行程。

日本參議院每三年改選一半議席，選前民調顯示，自民黨與執政夥伴公明黨可在改選的121席中取得超過70席，如果選前民調沒有出現落差，兩黨將可控制參院，不過部份民調預測光是自民黨就有望單獨拿下半數議席。

【綜合報導】阿里巴巴創辦人馬雲早前接受《南華早報》訪問時，因支持當局六四血腥屠殺遭各界譴責。
 
事件隨後越演越烈，除撰寫報道的記者劉怡刪除相關言論，並辭職兼向馬雲道歉外，《南早》編輯部今凌晨零時許表明會調查到底。
 
就在《南早》編輯部聲明發布後約3小時，阿里巴巴集團透過微博再發表聲明回應，稱根據採訪錄音，發現此次風波源於《南早》不正當的引述，嫁接馬雲的觀點。
 
聲明指，阿里巴巴集團期待《南早》的調查結果，同時已啟動「還原整個事實的全部取證。
