台東縣東河鄉台11線水往上流景點附近路段今天上午又有民眾撞死一隻白天出現的鼬獾，縣府緊急處理；當地也傳出有狗與疑似鼬獾的動物打架受傷。狂犬病消息引發恐慌，今天上午縣府在成功忠智里、東河都蘭村設疫苗施打站，還沒開打就見「貓潮」、「狗潮」，一上午全縣至少500隻犬貓施打。

鄰近台東的屏縣及高市山區，防疫也動起來，高市展開山區巡迴預防注射，並爭取旗山醫院存放疫苗，屏東規劃後送機制。

台東縣農業處長吳慶榮表示，今天上午又有民眾通報，在台11線水往上流附近撞到一隻鼬獾，這隻夜行性動物會在白天出沒已不尋常，還跑上馬路遭撞死，已派員處理送驗。

東河鄉興昌村則傳出昨晚有狗與疑似鼬獾形體的動物互咬，狗受傷，那隻動物則逃跑；台東縣動物防疫所今天上午將狗帶回處理。

台東縣府今天再增設一個動物防疫站，東海岸除東河鄉都蘭村，成功鎮忠智里也有防疫站。

「一大早到，擠滿人、狗、貓。」東河鄉防疫施打人員表示，開站不到兩小時，已經打了200多隻狗；昨天興昌村一天下來不過打了240 隻，今天以倍數增加。成功站也是「盛況空前」，里長林聰傑說，里民都很害怕，不敢疏忽。台東估計一上午就至少有500隻犬、貓施打疫苗。還有人一口氣帶了家裡的11隻貓來報到，就怕有任何「漏勾」。

台東縣發生工人遭帶有狂犬病毒的鼬獾咬傷，屏東縣鄰近台東的鄉民擔心，鼬獾可能「翻山越嶺」到來；恆春旅遊醫院長曾孔彥說，恆春地區醫院暫無狂犬病疫苗，已擬定後送機制，病患可在第一時間後送高雄小港和聯合醫院。台東有鼬獾感染狂犬病咬傷人，高雄市政府將鄰近台東的山區列為防疫重點，展開山區巡迴預防注射，並爭取旗山醫院存放疫苗。

高雄市農業局鑑於山區民眾及寵物與野生動物接觸機會較多，特別側重山區狂犬病動物疫苗巡迴預防注射，桃源區首日已施打414劑，將陸續前往茂林、那瑪夏和六龜等山區為當地寵物犬貓施打疫苗。

衛生福利部旗山醫院是距離高雄山區最近的一家大型醫院，高市衛生局將爭取旗山醫院存放人用疫苗，並開設旅遊門診及快速篩檢門診。

被列為狂犬病暴露發生地的南投魚池鄉，今有老農在道路旁發現一隻死亡的狗，防疫人員已趕往處理。

【綜合報導】美國紐約一對下月結婚的準新人，周五在哈德遜河乘船出海時遇上意外，準新娘身亡，伴郎落水失蹤，準新郎則是傷勢嚴重，正在醫院治療。

事發於當地時間周五晚上10時30分，一對準新人與另外4名好友，乘坐6.4公尺長快艇出海，不料快艇在哈德遜河與一艘平底船相撞，30歲的準新娘與伴郎被拋出快艇，船上4人亦受傷，35歲的準新郎傷勢嚴重，他被撞到一度昏迷，隨後醒來打電話求救。

事發後當局派出搜救人員，在出事地點搜索，當地時間周六上午打撈到一具符合30歲新娘特徵的屍體，屍體並未穿著救生衣，失蹤的伴郎則尚未尋獲，至於事故原因仍有待調查，警方懷疑可能是酒後駕船導致。

【綜合報導】中國河北56歲的陳游曾當過兵，做過生意。可惜多年前經商失敗，又遭遇妻子離開，經歷多重挫折，陳一度對生命心灰意冷，意圖自殺。後來得到朋友勸導，決定重展人生。2005年陳游徒步走遍中國宣傳奧運。奧運結束後，他決定拉板車徒步游走。每到一處，就會到郵局蓋章留念。

8年來，他已走過中國32個省市1000多座城市，全程2萬多公里，當中包括澳門。多年來陳游鐵車換了20條輪胎，穿破了97雙鞋。日前他來到江蘇高郵市，他聲言會繼續旅程，以挑戰和充實自己。

【綜合報導】美國《富比世》(Forbes)雜誌公布全美大學排名，加州史丹佛大學和波莫納學院包辦第一、二名，力壓東岸名校。史丹佛大學位於北加州矽谷地區，屬於教學研究型大學。由於大一生續讀率和學生入職場起薪皆高，讓學校從去年的第3名躍上第1名寶座，拿下第2名的波莫納學院，位於洛杉磯以東約50公里，僅有大學部，傑出校友包括已故的華特迪士尼資深總裁迪士尼(Roy Disney)、藝術家柏登(Chris Burden)等人。 這也是《富比世》雜誌公布全美大學排名6年來，西岸大學首度包辦前兩名。

去年榜首普林斯頓大學今年拿下第3名，耶魯大學第4，紐約市的哥倫比亞大第5名，這3所學校皆位於美東。排名前5的大學，學費介於54789美元至61640美元。

《富士比》雜誌委託美國大學學費與績效中心（Center for College Affordability and Productivity）評量全美650所學院和大學，評比標準包含學生滿意度、畢業後成就、學生債務、畢業率和全國競賽獎項等。 前10名的大學或學院中，以位於麻州的學府最多，包含第8名的哈佛大學、第9名的威廉斯學院和第10名的麻省理工學院。 加州大學柏克萊分校排名第22，同時也獲選全美最佳公立大學。
