蘇聯塔斯社1960年5月1日向全世界廣播了一條震驚全球的消息：蘇聯防空部隊擊落了美國U-2間諜偵察機，活捉駕駛員Ｆ·鮑爾斯上尉，地點在蘇聯斯維爾德洛伏斯克工業中心上空。華盛頓呆了！這難道是真的？但據他們掌握的蘇聯的飛機、火箭實力，蘇聯根本沒能力將3.3萬公尺高空的U-2飛機打下來！

據江蘇網報導，但莫斯科卻在展覽U-2飛機的殘骸。洶湧而至的觀眾清楚地看到，這是架很像滑翔機的偵察機，機身狹窄，機翼長15公尺，已被偽裝成用於氣象考察的飛機，攝像機、答錄機、雷達和無線電都完好無缺。要命的是駕駛員鮑爾斯不但沒有用毒針自殺，而且在盧比揚卡監獄裡寫了認罪書。

5年後，美國中央情報局終於弄清間諜幽靈克格勃是怎樣悄無聲息地潛入巴基斯坦的白沙瓦空軍基地，神不知鬼不覺地使U－2飛機機械失靈的。航空專家的克格勃輕易地設計出一個使U-2飛機起飛後機械失靈，但駕駛員卻不能發覺的巧妙方法，挑選出一個名叫嘉茲尼的間諜去執行任務。嘉茲尼在白沙瓦市有親戚朋友，而且他熟悉飛機構造。

在巴基斯坦這貧窮的地方，真是有錢能使鬼推磨，嘉茲尼大把大把的盧比，使他獲得了美軍機場的位置圖，確切知道U-2飛機停放點和走近它的路徑。嘉茲尼用紅外線望遠鏡進行徹夜的觀察，發現U-2飛機只有一個軍警守衛，每兩個鐘頭換一次班。要破壞它太容易了，但問題不是要炸掉它，而是要爬入機艙做手腳。嘉茲尼在觀察中摸到了一個規律，每次換班都在飛機的右舷，離飛機的門較遠。這就有機可乘了！

一天夜裡兩點，嘉茲尼像狸貓一樣穿過幾重鐵絲網溜進機場，瞄準換班軍警交接班聊天之際，悄無聲息地溜進U－2機艙。嘉茲尼要破壞的是高度儀。飛行技術專家的克格勃已想出一個利用磁鐵吸力的辦法，讓高度儀在飛機升上1萬公尺高空後自動顯示到3萬公尺的標尺，而1萬公尺米高空正是蘇聯火箭射程之內。

嘉茲尼縮著身子吃力地擰開高度儀的螺絲，在裡面放進克格勃交給他的小如繡花針的磁場儀，再把高度儀重新裝好。工作很快完成了，嘉茲尼一動不動地蹲在機艙內，感到渾身骨節發痛。直等到傳來軍警交換班的聲音，他才敏捷地溜出機艙，消失在夜幕裡。

鮑爾斯這個優秀的美國空軍殲擊機駕駛員像往常一樣從白沙瓦起飛去執行偵察任務，沿著既定路線放心地飛行：阿富汗──蘇聯邊境──鹹海──烏拉爾──阿爾漢格爾斯克──摩爾凌斯克──挪威北部的博多。蘇聯防空部隊這段時間早已進入緊急戰備狀態。雷達很快發現U-2飛機蹤影，三架米格飛機迅速升空截擊，但這回是高度夠得上卻追不上。

『可憐天下父母心』這句話不僅適用於大陸父母，不論中外貧富，父母可謂為了孩子費盡苦心。據《紐約郵報》報道，為培養孩子的社交才能、為孩子進入私立精英幼稚園做準備，紐約曼哈頓富有的父母們再次將這種苦心升級到新高度不惜用時薪400美元，聘玩耍『專家』來給孩子們組織玩耍約會。

玩耍也需要專家指導

據網易報導，透過預約這種昂貴的玩耍時間，『專家』會讓孩子們在一個房間玩耍，教導孩子如何與同齡的朋友們交往。若在這種玩耍中發現不足，專家會馬上提出『寶貴』意見，以提高客戶孩子進入紐約私立精英學校的機會。『亞里士多德圈子』是紐約一家負責組織玩耍約會的公司，該公司的CEO蘇珊娜·瑞爾特表示：在怎樣與同伴玩耍方面，『一些孩子確實需要一點改進』，『有時候父母會聽取我們專家的意見，看看孩子需要在哪些方面做改善』。

瑞爾特公司的玩耍約會一般是讓三至五名4歲左右的孩子在同一個房間裡玩耍，專家則在一旁觀察這幾名孩子如何分享蠟筆、如何參與『我說你做』的遊戲，甚至如何握筆也會被專家列為分析重點。

都是為了進幼稚園

在紐約曼哈頓，一些富裕家庭每年在孩子的幼稚園花費上能有兩三萬美元。能出得起錢還不代表能成功入園，在曼哈頓區一些最搶手的學校裡，爭奪一個名額的競爭是非常激烈的，想入園必須先通過幼稚園的面試。像紐約霍瑞斯曼學校（常春藤高中盟校之一，教學範圍從幼稚園到12年級）這樣的精英學校在招生時都會考察候選者在社交方面的技能，因此，不少父母非常重視這種玩耍約會。
