指考成績公布，同學間不免詢問彼此的榜單，結果總是「幾家歡樂幾家愁」，昨天選填志願結束，筆者想趁此時機點，反映一下高中生的看法。

同學在準備填選志願時，往往會看報紙大幅報導的榜首，把什麼科系當作第一志願？這些答案，又不外乎是各類組萬年首選，雖然受訪同學都會坦然地說：「我有夢想，從小就想要當ⅩⅩ，所以我選擇ⅩⅩⅩ」。

面對這樣的回答，筆者心中不免有個疑問：「念醫學系的同學，到底是因為想要當醫生，懸壺濟世以回饋社會而努力念書？還是因為努力念書，成績在頂標更頂標，而選擇永遠不敗的醫學系呢？」第一志願是不是也可以有其他的選擇？

每年各類組榜首公開後，大家錦上添花，歡慶有人又破了考試制度的新紀錄，某些層面是善意地激勵未來學子繼續努力，朝前人開墾的路邁進。

不過，如果嘗試建議下一個年度、未來每一個年度的孩子，不管你是榜首，還是個有夢想的人，選填志願時，都可以有很多選擇，只要是你心目中所企盼的科系，那都永遠是你的第一志願。

知名導演李安，或者是麵包達人吳寶春、服裝設計師吳季剛，不也是渴望多一份環境的支持嗎？

學生雖然社會經驗非常不足，很多考量需要長輩給建議和指點，不過不要忘了：「我們不是追隨潮流，而是創造潮流！」

  【鄭敏玲／台中報導】台中市新社區昨日出現中市首例死亡鼬獾確診感染狂犬病，市府動物保育防疫處立即成立疫情指揮中心，並提供1400劑疫苗，到新社區幫民眾飼養的犬貓進行免費注射;捕狗隊則開始捕捉週遭流浪犬緊急安置並施打疫苗，以防疫情擴大。
 
  台中市副市長徐中雄表示，動物保育防疫處在七月二十六日將四隻民眾發現的動物屍體送農委會家畜衛生所檢驗，分別是新社、太平山區發現的鼬獾各一隻，南屯區、后里區白鼻心各一隻，昨天上午接獲回報，檢驗結果僅新社區死亡鼬獾確診為狂犬病病例，另三具動物屍體則未驗出。

    徐中雄說，台中市庫存六千劑狂犬病疫苗，因應這次的疫情暫時無虞，但是中央近日僅同意撥付一千支疫苗，唯恐日後不夠使用，他呼籲「台中市被分到的疫苗真的太少了，農委會不要欺負好學生，我們需要更多疫苗！」

 台中市動保處長余建中表示，新社區確診狂犬病的鼬獾，是被民眾飼養的狗叼回家的，擔心狗兒也被感染，因此已將該犬隔離飼養，但檢驗報告尚未出爐，不過該犬目前並未出現狂犬病等異狀；他並表示，該處最近將針對東豐自行車道及公老坪等山區附近的流浪狗施打疫苗，請民眾配合，近日內儘量避開這些地點，以免流浪狗遭捕捉時因驚慌進而攻擊民眾。

【李銘宏／台北報導】台北市南港路與興南街口，今天凌晨發生一起機車車禍，一名家住興南街的周姓騎士，在南港路要左轉回家時，對向機車疑因煞車不及與他發生碰撞，對方安全帽脫落，頭部撞擊地面留下一攤血跡，送醫後急救後仍昏迷有生命危險，而周姓騎士則右手臂多處撕裂傷，留在現場等做完筆錄後才就醫。

警方表示，周男酒測值為零，而另一名機車騎士則已經抽血送測，由於現場雙向都是綠燈，且不需兩段式左轉，因此雙方式如何發生車禍，還需調閱附近監視器才能釐清當時狀況。

【綜合報導】日本島根、山口兩縣從27日晚間開始降下豪雨，以島根縣松江一帶的降雨量為例，光是27日晚間8時起的24小時內，當地就降下381毫米的雨量，這是當地7月份的平均雨量。目前已知有1人死亡、2人失蹤、2人腳部骨折，兩縣已向自衛隊請求支援。

根據日本氣象廳資料，山口縣萩市須佐28日正午左右1小時降雨138.5毫米，山口和島根兩縣3小時降下的雨量，是當地14個地區50年來最高雨量。已有超過1200人離開住所避難，山口縣警方在倒塌的房屋內發現1名80歲左右的女性遺體。

蘋果日報-上季經濟成長率將調高
主計總處預計周三公布第2季經濟成長率最新概估值，由於6月出口表現優於預期，第2季經濟成長率有機會從主計總處5月時預估的1.98%，調升到2%以上。不過，台大經濟系教授林向愷認為，第2季政府支出沒什麼增加，消費也未回溫，「2%大概就是最好的數字了。」下半年則看國際景氣而定。
