【綜合報導】日本前首相鳩山由紀夫表示，現任首相安倍晉三欲聯合其他國家包圍中國的做法十分幼稚，也難以實現。

鳩山由紀夫表示，自二戰後日本一直採取依靠美國的國策，是落後的做法，日本應該和中國、南韓等亞洲國家合作，才會有好的未來，而現時包圍中國的政策，則是無視中國和全球各國都有聯繁的現況，只會令日本在國際間變得更孤立。他認為，不論是歷史或是領土爭議，日本應該學會考慮對方的立場，才能有效和妥善解釋決問題、改善雙邊關係。

他還透露，妻子最近學唱中國國家主席習近平妻子彭麗媛的名曲《在希望的田野上》，期待未來能和彭麗媛合唱。

【綜合報導】美國聯邦公報最新公佈的數據顯示，2013年第二季度放棄美國國籍的人數再創新高，暴增至1131人，比去年同期的189人多出5倍。美國媒體稱，美國政府為了增加稅收應對拮據的財政狀況，準備實施更嚴格的資產申報規定，使得放棄美國公民身份或綠卡的人數持續增長。

報告顯示，2013年到6月為止的3個月裡，旅居海外的美國人向使館申請放棄國籍、同時也放棄美國政府稅單的人數攀升到1131人，雖然在超過600萬旅居海外的美國人中只佔少數，但這是國稅局自1998年開始公佈名單以來放棄美國國籍人數最多的一個季度。今年上半年，共有1810人放棄美國國籍，是2008年全年235人的近8倍。

據彭博社報道，在經濟合作與發展組織中，唯有美國規定無論居住地是何處，美國公民都需向國家繳稅。國會數據指出，美國每年因公民逃稅造成的損失估計高達一億美元。致力削減預算赤字的歐巴馬政府，希望通過追查納稅人利用海外資產逃稅的行為，增加國庫收入。

美國2010年通過，預計2014年7月開始執行的《外國賬戶稅收遵從法》（FATCA）一旦實施，資產申報要求將會更嚴格。按照FATCA的條規，外國金融機構必須向美國稅務局提供美國納稅人的資料，包括他們持有的外國公司實質性所有者權益。瑞士和英國等許多主要銀行國家，已經同意配合美國政府披露這些資料。未向美國稅務局申報足夠資料的銀行客戶，銀行可從他們賬戶中扣減與美國相關付款款額的30%。美國國會稅收聯合委員會根據這項稅務法追稅，未來10年估計可為政府增加87億美元的稅收。

【綜合報導】孩童沉迷滑手機玩平板，家長可要注意了，荷蘭醫生表示越來越多8歲到18歲的青少年因脊髓問題前來就診，發現原來是因為這些年輕人長時間低頭玩手機或平板，導致椎間盤突出等問題。
 
醫生表示這樣的狀況在1百多年前也曾發生，當時是由於童工問題氾濫，但現在卻是因為爽當低頭族，醫生表示脊髓彎曲會阻礙孩童發育，家長若不及時矯正，問題恐更加嚴重。
 
家長可先簡單測試，如果小朋友彎腰無法過半，手碰不到腳趾，就表示脊髓可能彎曲。
