【潘岳／宜蘭報導】宜蘭縣員山鄉公所舉辦為期2天的「慶讚中元消災祈福燃燈供佛地藏法會」，今晚9時在紫竹林北后寺由當代樂坊所演奏的梵音中揭開序幕，現場提供百盞蓮花燈，免費供民眾祈福施放，象徵邀請陰間的朋友來做客，為好兄弟點亮回人間的路，並在普渡法事後平安回去，藉以祈求鬼月平安。

鄉長江永和表示，農曆7月是佛教的孝道月，透過法會，祈求鄉境風調雨順、闔家平安， 8日中午北后寺備有平安麵結緣，歡迎民眾踴躍前往。

【綜合報導】中國江蘇有家長日前表示，女兒所在小學的校車，竟然在暑假期間客串做靈車，母女倆親眼看見校車將1名跳樓身亡的女子運走，而女童看了之後直呼「以後不敢坐校車了」。

當地教育單位表示，這輛「靈車校車」是學校外包的車輛，和學校的租約已滿，新學期開始這輛車子不會再當作校車，但未來會要求校車不能參加類似的運輸活動。

2013澎湖沙灘嘉年華今晚開幕！歌手陳昇與新寶島康樂隊跨海來到湖西相隘門沙灘熱情開唱兩小時整。演唱會末尾，主辦的交通部觀光局澎湖國家風景管理處還在沙灘上施放十餘分鐘璀璨奪目的海上花火，讓五千到場遊客驚呼連連。

【陳郁仁／聖文森報導】總統馬英九出訪中南美友邦的「賀誼之旅」，今抵達友邦聖文森，馬總統特地到當地的一座「可納利橋」，舉行通車典禮。原來，本地原本有一座橋樑，連接學校和住宅區，但後來橋垮了，學生只好冒險涉水求學，所以我國援建一座新橋，幫助當地居民。

然而，雖然外交部聲稱我國目前對外援助計劃，都是「目的正當、手段合法、執行有效」，不再隨便金援，但這座短短不到50公尺的橋，造價竟高達110萬美金（約3300萬台幣）。聖國總理龔薩福還強調「這座橋的每一分錢，都是中華民國政府出的」，他們有好好善用。負責營建橋梁的海外工程公司人員則表示，因為蓋橋還要徵收河岸兩邊房子，所以造價較高。

此外，聖國沒有國際機場，無法讓747等大型客機降落，馬總統今天是搭乘小飛機來訪。目前該國正在興建國際機場，機場航廈部分也是我海外工程公司興建，造價2650萬美金（約8億台幣），其中部分款項是我國援助，部分是聖國向台灣貸款，還有一部分是聖國自己出錢。

【綜合報導】日本知名的「日光猿軍團」，昨日表示將在今年內解散，未來猴子軍團將不再表演。

「日光猿軍團」在1992年成立，在90年代相當有人氣，但是卻在昨日發表解散宣言。日本媒體報導，日光猿軍團解散的原因，包括311大地震之後，許多外籍馴獸師都離開日本，只留下本土馴獸師，但數量不夠，無法負擔訓練猴子的工作。

此外，許多「台柱猴」已經漸漸老去，沒有體力再出來表演，因此園方決定忍痛解散猴子軍團。
