【綜合報導】美國路易斯安那州周四發生一名8歲男童，蓄意槍殺一名年近90歲老婦，根據當地警方表示，老婦在客廳看電視時，遭男童從背後開槍射中頭部身亡。

被槍殺的老婦是男童的看護人，男童一開始被偵訊時表示他在玩手槍時不小心走火，純粹是起意外，不過警方調查後認為男童應是蓄意謀殺，雖然動機尚未查明，但男童當時正在玩一款名為《俠盜飛車》(Grand Theft Auto)的電玩遊戲，這款暴力遊戲，玩家殺人便可獲得分數，警方不排除男童是受電玩遊戲影響而殺人。

英國廣播公司由台北發出影音報導，介紹台灣傳統的刀療按摩法，這種奇特的古老民俗療法引起不少人的興趣，這則報導一度登上最熱門影音新聞榜首。

英國廣播公司新聞網（BBC News）駐台北記者蕭藹君（Cindy Sui）24日發出這則報導表示，在台灣，夠勇敢的人可以試試這種特殊的按摩方式。

報導說，刀療法2000多年前起源於中國大陸，而台灣是目前少數幾個仍可見刀療法的地方之一。

這位女記者還躺在刀療會館的床墊上，親身體驗刀療的滋味。

【綜合報導】與「基地」組織(al-Qaeda)有密切關聯的伊斯蘭激進組織「努斯拉陣線」(Al-Nusra Front)，今天(25日)宣稱，最快就在今天，將針對敘利亞境內支持總統阿薩德(Bashar al-Assad)的社區發動襲擊，以報復上星期政府軍在大馬士革市區發動化學武器攻擊。

法國總統奧朗德(Francois Hollande)今天表示，已經有大量證據顯示，化學物器攻擊事件是由阿薩德政權所為，他呼籲敘利亞盡早讓聯合國化武調查員到現場進行調查，英美等國都已表明隨時可以對敘利亞動武，而天主教教宗方濟各(Pope Francis)今天也特別為敘利亞人民進行祈禱，並且呼籲國際社會務必持續與敘利亞保持對話。
