【綜合報導】英國8歲男童凱索（Cieran Kelso）因腦膜炎被迫截肢，父親為他設計鰭狀義肢，方便他在水中游泳。凱索對電影《泳不放棄》（Dolphin Tale）中也同樣裝上義肢的海豚「溫特」（Winter）非常感興趣，視牠為偶像。
 
美國佛州觀光局得知後，先與凱索的父母聯繫，決定招待凱索全家到溫特所在的佛州水族館參觀，並破例准許凱索進入水族箱與溫特一同游泳。但凱索直到出發前才被父母告知，興奮的他並在與溫特共游後表示：「真的好棒」。

康芮颱風造成雲林地區重大水患，農委會主委農委會主委陳保基30日接受媒體訪問時，指稱早在5月21日就發函雲林縣政府要求盡快清淤，縣府置之不理：縣府今天駁斥陳保基所言與事實不符，對此未經查證逕予指控，縣府表示深感遺憾。

雲林縣政府今天發表聲明稿說，針對農委會5月21日來函的提醒，縣府於5月27日發函西螺鎮、二崙鄉等公所要求加強整備，辦理清淤，並非置之不理。

縣府表示，農水路維護疏濬是農委會權責，公文副本也同時發給雲林農田水利會，顯然農委會並非不知權責歸屬，也必然知道水利會所管轄的農水路保護基準為2-5年期，比一般區域排水系統功能及排水量較弱。

縣府強調，雲林縣10年期防洪頻率單日雨量261毫米，25年防洪頻率為332毫米。根據本月29日氣象資料顯示，西螺鎮單日降雨量為271毫米，虎尾鎮降雨625毫米，都已超過10年重現期距降雨量，超越排水路設計流量，因此造成雲林10幾年來最嚴重水患，農委會竟指天災為人禍，令人費解！

（中央社台北1日電）中國大陸湖北省從今天起調高最低工資標準。大陸今年至今已有24個地區上調最低工資，其中以上海最低月薪人民幣1620元（約新台幣8020元）最高。

中新網統計，上海的月最低工資標準達人民幣1620元，為全大陸最高；最低時薪標準最高的是北京和新疆，都是15.2元（約新台幣75元）。

湖北從9月1日起調高最低工資標準。調整後，湖北省最低工資標準按區域劃分為三級，全日制就業勞動者月最低工資（最低月薪）標準依次為1300元、1020元、900元。非全日制就業勞動者的小時最低工資（最低時薪）標準依次為14元、11元、9.5元。

至此，2013年以來，大陸已有上海、廣東、天津、浙江、北京、山東、山西、河南、江西、廣西、深圳、甘肅、陜西、貴州、新疆、江蘇、四川、遼寧、寧夏、吉林、雲南、安徽、福建、湖北24個地區調高最低工資標準。

根據大陸人力資源和社會保障部公布的數據顯示，2011年大陸有24個省份調整最低工資標準，平均增幅22%；2012年有25個省份調整最低工資標準，平均增幅20.2%。

2013年才過了2/3，調整最低工資標準的省份數量就與2011年持平，與2012年相比也只差1個地區。報導指出，大陸今年全年調整最低工資標準的省份數量可望超過去年。

依照大陸國務院批轉的「關於深化收入分配制度改革的若干意見」提出，根據經濟發展、物價變動等因素，適時調整最低工資標準，到2015年絕大多數地區最低工資標準達到當地城鎮從業人員平均工資的40%以上。

【綜合報導】聯合國難民事務高級專員公署（(Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees，UNHCR)）1日發布報告指稱，今年到目前為止，逃到黎巴嫩尋求庇護的敘利亞難民已達71.6萬，比上周增加1.3萬人。
 
報告說，在這些敘利亞難民中，已有60.6萬人在聯合國難民署登記註冊，另有11萬人正在等待登記註冊。他們正得到黎巴嫩政府和聯合國等相關國際機構的保護和幫助。
 
報告還指出，UNHCR透過在黎巴嫩部分地區的登記站對敘利亞難民進行登記註冊。光在8月份，UNHCR就已註冊了5.5萬名敘利亞難民。
