【王覺一／綜合報導】南韓投手林昌勇今天在大聯盟初登板就締造幾項紀錄，首先他是小熊本季第32位在大聯盟首度亮相的菜鳥，締造隊史單季最多菜鳥初登場紀錄。此外，他以37歲4個月又3天，成為1901年以後，小熊隊史第2老初登板投手。
 
林昌勇在韓國職棒生涯104勝66敗168救成功，2008年轉戰日職養樂多又拿下128場救援成功，去年7月在36歲時進行第2次韌帶移植手術，小熊仍願意等待他，年底與他簽下小聯盟合約。
 
小熊今天打完前6局以3比4落後釀酒人，林昌勇在7局上1出局後登板，先投出四壞，再被敲出安打，不過他隨即讓席古拉(Jean Segura)擊出雙殺打。林昌勇初登板投0.2局無失分，最快球速93哩(約150公里)，與他巔峰時期相去無幾。

【劉智維／高雄報導】國道中山高速公路南下高雄楠梓交流道路段，下午接近5時許發生拖板車失控衝撞路肩隔音牆的車禍，楊姓駕駛(33歲)全身多處遭玻璃割傷，經高雄市消防局岡山分隊救護車送往高雄榮總治療後沒有大礙，不過該起車禍造成楠梓路段外側車道及路肩封閉，車流回堵至岡山路段，直到晚間7時左右車流才慢慢紓解，國道五隊仍在釐清車禍肇事原因當中。

【陳世河／台中報導】台中神岡區張姓男子（48歲，公共危險前科）5日下4點多，喝酒後跑到神岡區豐洲路301巷馬路中間攔車，過往車輛驚嚇之餘紛紛閃避並報警，警方前往民眾報案指稱地點，發現張男正拍打路旁住家鐵門，為保護張男安全，警員將張男帶回派出所管束，不料張男被帶回派出所後情緒失控，不斷對警員大罵「幹你娘xx、龜兒子、大估呆」，警員多次勸誡張男這樣涉嫌妨害公務，不料張男沒有收斂反而撂下狠話說：「我交保出來還會來輸贏（會報復之意）警方最後在錄影蒐證後，將他依妨害公務罪嫌移送法辦。
