【侯力元／新竹報導】4名蒙面歹徒今天凌晨２時許開著偷來的贓車，到位在峨眉鄉的唐盛陶藝公司闖入行竊，在２樓的沈姓老闆娘聽到一樓有聲響，下樓查看，卻被４名歹徒用西瓜刀壓制後綑綁。
 
其後在樓上的２位男性股東見老闆娘遲遲未回，也下樓查看，同樣被歹徒綑綁起來，４名歹徒搜括陶藝公司內的現金120萬元後揚長離去，3名被綑綁的被害人則是花了１個多小時才脫困報警。

【綜合報導】美國憲法第14修正案保障只要是在美國出生的人，就能獲得美國公民身份，有鑑於此，現在中國富豪間掀起聘用美國代理孕母潮，加上在中國不允許代理孕母，還有一胎化限制，美國仲介公司表示，這2年來有越來越多中國富豪，透過他們尋找美國籍的代理孕母，不過仲介公司沒有表明實際數據有多少。
 
上海富商江湯尼(Tony Jiang)和妻子嘗試多次無法懷孕，透過仲介公司，尋找美國代理孕母在加州前後共幫他們生下3子，不過尋求代理孕母的費用可不低，付給代理孕母的價格從2萬2美元起跳，仲介商的費用還要另算從1萬7美元起跳，還不包括法律文件代辦費用和產前產後護理費用等等，林林總總加起來至少約要7萬6美元，約近台幣225萬。
 
而且美國法律允許外國人士的子女只要成年滿21歲，就可幫父母申請美國公民身分，也是促使不少中國富豪尋求美國代理孕母的動機之一。

【綜合報導】肯亞內政部長表示軍方將西門購物中心整個徹底檢查過一遍，沒有發現任何人，也沒有遇到槍手襲擊，推斷所有人質應該都已平安撤離，並表示軍方已完全掌控購物中心，但仍尚未宣布事件落幕。

根據美聯社現場記者表示，安全部隊人員透露顯然還有人質在裡面，否則這起事件早就會結束了

【李宗祐／嘉義報導】中秋夜中埔鄉發生李姓婦人遭撞死肇事逃逸案，一名涂姓男子不到半小時後出現，自稱是肇事者向警方投案，檢警調查涂男供詞漏洞百出、涉嫌替人頂罪，事後肇事者廖姓男子到案說明，指因假釋中，怕撞死人的刑責加重，才找友人頂罪，檢警於今宣佈破案。

但家屬懷疑廖男仍是替死鬼，實際肇事者另有其人，因為廖男身上無傷，其心虛態度不像肇事者。唯檢方認為偵查終結，不再受理。
 
中秋節晚上9時40分左右，從事美髮業的李淑美（57歲）徒步穿越阿里山公路19.2公里中埔鄉段時，突遭一輛白色車輛撞死，肇事者加速逃逸。不到半小時，涂家豪（22歲）向警方投案，表示自己是肇事者，因害怕才肇逃，但涂男態度自若，檢警發現他說詞漏洞百出，涂男才坦承替友人頂罪，不久肇事者廖豪毅（23歲）到案說明，指因毒品案假釋中，怕肇事後加重刑責才找友人頂罪。
 
下午廖嫌在媽媽的陪同下，到死者李淑美靈堂上香、跪下叩頭表示歉意。
 
死者兒子說，原向媽媽祭告，指凶手已經找到了，但擲筊多次沒有回應，家人也覺得廖男說詞反覆，態度不像肇事者，尤其不敢直視媽媽遺照更令人狐疑。死者兒子在媽媽靈前跪下，泣訴一定會將真正凶手揪出，請媽媽安心上路。
 
但檢方認為，該案相關事證已明確，肇事者也已到案，全案依過失致死、公共危險及偽造文書等罪嫌法辦。
