【湯寶隆／高雄報導】1名許姓無業男（34歲）帶著女友從台中到高雄租屋，因求職碰壁，花光盤纏後，9月下旬開始飛車行搶，還拿著被害人提款卡盜領，不到10天犯案2起，得手近萬元。
 
警方發現許男為躲避查緝，犯案時卸下車牌，不過經擴大調閱監視畫面，找到案發前未卸車牌影像。警方以車追人，1日北上台中逮人，由於許男都是出手硬搶，遭警方謔稱是「拉拉隊長」，全案依搶奪及詐欺罪嫌送辦。

中國手機品牌小米在 2013 上半年總計銷售出 703 萬台小米手機，年度目標為 1,500 萬台。小米科技執行長雷軍 9 月 24 日透過微博表示，小米手機 2 / 2A / 2S 銷量突破了 1,000 萬台，產品上市 11 個月。亦提到雖然小米手機無法和 iPhone 5S / 5C 公佈的全球銷量相比，但這是小米成長歷史性的一步！雖然最新公佈的 1,000 萬台數目並未包括今年 8 月開賣的紅米手機，但隨著小米手機 2 / 2A / 2S 以及紅米手機持續出貨，再加上 10 月中即將發售的小米手機 3，兩款分屬不同消費族群的新機可望進一步挹注小米手機的銷售數字，而年度目標 1,500 萬台亦有機會達成。此外，小米科技總裁林斌近日在微博張貼紅米手機通過 WCDMA 訊號的截圖，據了解紅米手機 WCDMA + GSM 版本將於近期提交台灣 NCC 審驗，有機會年底前登台開賣；未來不論是中華電信、台灣大哥大、遠傳電信及威寶電信用戶都可透過紅米手機使用 3G 上網或撥打電話。

【林媛玲／新北報導】新北市勞工局上月推「初次尋職青年就業服務」，希望讓初次尋職失業青年順利投入職場，推動1個月有76位符合資格，其中4位已找到工作。勞工局長謝政達表示，提出申請並符合資格的求職者，大學以上學歷63位，比率達8成3，其中7人是碩士；失業1年內有22位，失業1年以上未滿2年有29位，有25位青年朋友失業超過2年，比率達3成3，其中4位求職者失業超過6年，更有超過8年找不到工作。

新鉅科為微軟概念股，Xbox One鏡頭主力供應商，近期因辦理現增，10月8日除權息，今（2）日為最後融券回補日，昨天融券餘額仍有1,902張。近日新鉅科股價軋空氣息濃厚，昨天終場拉尾盤作收111元，小跌0.5元，現資認股基準日為10月15日。

新鉅科第3季營收大躍增，8月營收以3.68億元創近年來單月新高，較7月翻倍成長，法人預估，9月營收持續上攻，有機會突破2010年11月締造4.38億元新高紀錄。

新鉅第2季稅後純益214萬元，擺脫連續六季虧損，每股純益0.02元，法人估計，第3季獲利將倍增，帶動前三季轉盈，今年獲利有機會創歷史新高。新鉅科上半年每股虧損約0.56元。

因應客戶訂單需求，新鉅科上半年在大陸東莞廠已先擴增50%，不過，由於訂單爆增，仍積極擴產中，或尋求其他供應商支應訂單，以滿足缺口。

【陳啟明／桃園機場報導】去年5月20日，航警局與海關從遠雄快遞進口專區中查獲一批仿冒「MONTBLANC」及「OMEGA」名牌手錶6只，經追查貨主後發現，一名因詐欺、侵占遭到通緝的男子黃旭輝（49歲）涉有重嫌，昨天下午前往台中將黃男逮捕歸案，並當場查獲仿冒BEATS耳機339副及仿冒名牌手錶16只，市價高達500萬元。
 
警方表示：蘇嫌除了利用知名大陸拍賣網站「淘寶網」販售仿冒品外，還利用淘寶網對台灣買家購買物品需要繁雜的設定儲值，在網路拍賣上刊登「代辦大陸淘寶網各項業務」甚至還提供兌換人民幣的項目，短短6個月，獲利600萬以上，訊後依違反銀行法、商標法等罪嫌移送地檢署偵辦。

【綜合報導】身兼民進黨主席蘇貞昌核心幕僚、文宣部副主任的李厚慶，去年向妻子黃女表示要南下陪蘇貞昌輔選，當晚卻到三立新聞台女主播白舒樺家中遭妻捉姦。

去年五月，李簽和解書賠償黃女四百萬元獲撤告及協議離婚。和解書中寫明，黃女願撤回對丈夫的通姦告訴，但強調「和解書不代表黃女寬恕白舒樺。」黃女仍告白女通姦並求償一百萬元。法官認為，兩人公然擁抱又深夜共處一室，已破壞黃女婚姻幸福，應賠二十萬元，但兩人對黃女的損害應負起連帶賠償責任，李男既已賠償四百萬元，應包含白女的二十萬元，因此判白女免賠。刑事部分白女已獲不起訴。

【大紀元2013年10月02日訊】（大紀元記者高雲林多倫多編譯報導）與下棋和打橋牌相比，麻將在加拿大人眼中並沒有那麼好的名聲，他們常將其與非法賭博聯繫在一起，而非是一項益智活動。一個新成立的協會希望通過推廣該活動，扭轉西方人的麻將印象，接受這項「大腦的健康運動」。

最近一個週六下午，幾十人冒著風雨聚集在多倫多和萬錦的3個麻將訓練中心，參加加拿大麻將協會（Canada Mahjong Association）組織的活動。該協會剛於今年8月成立，有超過150位會員，其中不少人沒有華裔背景。

據《多倫多星報》報導，協會創辦人Ying Fu Wang表示，打麻將與下棋、打橋牌一樣，能保持腦部活躍，他專門制定了1份統一規則和計分制度，希望透過免費培訓和比賽，向加拿大人推廣這種「大腦的健康運動」。

他開玩笑說：「麻將是中國文化的組成部分。在中國，11億人中有9億人在打麻將，剩下的都在看。」他說：「我們希望改變西方人對麻將的感知，能將其視為健康和益智的遊戲，希望它能像撲克一樣受歡迎。」

世界麻將協會（World Mahjong Network）成立於2005年，並於2007年在中國舉辦了第一場世界麻將錦標賽，共有來自12個國家的選手參加。麻將之後紅遍世界，歐洲選手甚至在麻將桌上表現的比中國人更優秀。

今年早期在圖盧茲（Toulouse）舉行的一次國際比賽中，法國選手包攬了金、銀、銅牌，其次是兩個意大利和荷蘭選手。中國最好的選手在108名選手中只排在第七位。首屆加拿大錦標賽計劃於2月舉行。

萬錦市居民蘭斯（Brian Lansdowne）五年前在妻子的影響下開始接觸麻將，從那時起，這名已退休的加拿大郵政工人對麻將上癮，他每天都在電腦前玩麻將遊戲，偶爾也會陪伴妻子和她的朋友玩一桌。

當他今年夏天從本地媒體得知有關麻將講習班後，感到十分高興。蘭斯說：麻將比撲克困難得多，因為麻將的可得分組合遠多於撲克。麻將能令你的腦筋保持活動，促進思考，而且你也要小心對手，因此與真人玩比大電腦麻將遊戲有趣的多。」

在上海長大的咪咪‧蘭斯（Mimi Lansdowne）說，她在孩童時就開始看家人打麻將，十幾歲時開始玩麻將。

這位已退休的餐館老闆說：「我們每週末聚集在麻將桌聊天、社交。這是社會生活的一部分。」

另一位講習班參與者Michael Chen說，他在香港打麻將長大，但1989年移民到多倫多後便停了，因為大家都在忙，很難找到4人玩一桌麻將。
