【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】由香港「電訊魔童」之稱的王維基所創辦的《香港電視》，昨日未獲香港特區政府發放執照，今日王維基在中午召開記者會表示，「今日是黑暗的日子」，批評香港電視的發照作業，根本是香港政府的黑箱作業。

王維基說，他不後悔砸重金開設香港電視，也不後悔申請發照作業，但批評政府讓香港電視死得不明不白，指裡頭很明顯地有黑箱作業，「政府不讓香港電視獲照，根本是違背民意」，他呼籲香港人要團結維護土地和權益。

不過王維基也說，他目前並沒有打算購買其他電視台。至於有網友呼籲周日遊行到政府總部抗議，王維基感謝網友支持，亦支持員工參與遊行，但表示自己不會參加。另外，關於被裁掉的320名員工，王維基說他也很無奈，剩下的100名員工，他將會繼續重整、保留實力，誓言東山再起。

【曾雪蒨／台中報導】台中一名47歲警察，十年前就發現自己有高血壓問題，長期定期就醫服藥都不見改善，不但血壓居高不下，近四年更密集出現三次心肌梗塞，雖裝了6個導管支架，也乖乖服藥，卻仍無法讓居高不下的血壓降下來。今年八月第三度心肌梗塞後，中國醫藥大學附設醫院心臟科醫師陳業鵬上月採用今年五月衛生福利部剛通過的腎動脈交感神經叢燒灼術治療，追蹤一個月後，終於讓10年來收縮壓平均179、舒張壓109毫米汞柱，降到目前血壓維持在收縮壓140、舒張壓90左右，收縮壓與舒張壓平均降了30左右，過去因為一忙碌就頭暈、胸悶症狀也因此改善。
                                                                                    
陳業鵬醫師說，人體腎動脈交感神經叢主要掌管血管收縮與舒張，只要情緒亢奮就會透過該神經叢刺激大腦造成血管收縮，血壓上升，該治療方法就是從單側股動脈帶著電燒儀器進入腎動脈交感神經，燒灼神經阻斷神經傳導，讓血壓不因情緒影響忽高忽低；「該治療方法歐盟已經使用超過五年，但國內因五月才通過該治療方法，目前全國不到十例，湯先生是其中一例；該治療尚未健保幾付。」
