台達旗下Vivitek Qumi冠名贊助全球知名的限時電影拍攝競賽-「Taipei 48 Hour Film Project（台北48小時影片拍攝計畫）」，包括競賽、頒獎典禮、影展均以「Qumi微投影、分享微電影」為主題，充分傳達Vivitek Qumi微型投影機「行動便攜」與「即時分享」的品牌精神。

Vivitek亞洲區主管施彥名表示，這次透過「Qumi微投影·分享微電影」冠名贊助台北48小時影片拍攝計畫，除展現「微投影」產品便攜特色外，更希望傳達微電影可以透過微投影的播放方式，不受時間地點約束，即時與三五好友互動分享。Vivitek Qumi微型投影機外型輕巧，同時能呈現高度細膩畫質，必能引領用微投影播放微電影之風潮。

「台北48小時影片拍攝計畫─Qumi微投影分享微電影」題目公布後，無論是腳本、拍攝、剪接都必須在48小時內完成，經過評審後，於今日舉辦頒獎典禮與影展。冠軍可獲得新台幣2萬元及美國來回機票，前三名得獎作品也將在緯來電影台播出。此外，優勝作品有機會代表台灣赴美國參加2013年「48小時影展」，與全球120城市共同角逐「最佳影片獎」，且入圍該獎項的10部作品將在坎城影展上播映。

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】中國北京知名古蹟天壇公園，最近出現變態殺貓狂徒，半個月內已經發現60隻貓屍，部分身上帶有明顯的傷痕，懷疑是遭人虐殺而死。由於當地民眾拋棄家貓的習慣十分惡劣，公園內目前至少還有200隻流浪貓生存。

居民李女士表示，她經常到天壇公園散步，每天都能看到很多小貓在樹林裏嬉戲。但從今年「十一」長假過後，李女士到天壇公園時，陸續發現很多小貓都已經不見了，半個月下來幾乎每天都會看到一兩隻貓屍，有些身上帶有明顯的傷口。

公園的工作人員表示，半月內他們已經在園內找到近60隻貓的屍體。公園管理部門正設法防止再有貓隻遭到虐殺。而北京市動物監督所表示，他們會替公園內的流浪貓進行絕育，然後送往收容中心，但有很多愛心人士，都反對將貓咪送往收容中心。

【吳國仲／台北報導】昨天深夜11時許，新莊區傳出1起跳樓事件，1名住在中正路安養中心的周姓男子(58歲)，疑似因久病厭世，自己從安養中心2樓的窗戶爬出，墜落到地面。警消獲報後立即出動，將已失去呼吸、心跳的周男送醫，但經醫院急救仍宣告不治。
 
警消初步調查，8月份從長庚轉院過來的周男，有駝背壓迫到胸腔的症狀，因此長期需要呼吸器維生。安養中心院長表示，事發當時，有護理師看到周男爬上窗出，趕緊與另1名男病人一起拉住周男，但還是抓不住，周男因而墜地。針對詳細事發經過，警方將調閱安養中心內部監視器來釐清。

【突發中心／新北報導】新北市的疏洪道三重路段，今天凌晨2時許，發生一起機車自摔車禍，救護車到場將機車駕駛送醫途中，駕駛無呼吸心跳，目前已經送達衛福部台北醫院急救，另外有一名機車駕駛輕傷，也同樣送往台北醫院急救，目前警方正在現場了解車禍經過。

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】一項研究顯示，洗手可以讓人在面對挫敗時更樂觀，但也會降低發奮動力、意志消沉。

德國科隆大學進行的研究，將98人分成3組，先讓其中兩組人完成一項「不可能做到的事」，讓他們充滿挫敗感，然後叫其中一組人洗手，再讓這兩組人完成第二項艱難任務。結果發現，洗了手那一組，在經歷第一次挫敗後，較沒洗手那一組更樂觀自信，但在進行第二項任務時的表現卻較差，成績和只參加第二次任務的第三組人差不多。

分析指，這反映在面對挫敗後洗手，可減低負面情緒，但卻同時降低在下一次面對挑戰時，奮發向上以證明自我能力的動力。這項研究刊載於最新一期《社會心理學與人格科學》期刊中。

早前美國密西根州大學一項研究也指出，在作出艱難決定後洗手，會讓人更堅信自己的決定是對的。
