【陳培煌╱台北報導】強颱海燕肆虐菲律賓造成當地災情慘重，我外交部與國防部昨派遣兩架次C-130運輸機載運物資飛往菲國。外交部長林永樂今赴立法院外交及國防委員會備詢前受訪強調，援菲物資沒有上限，主要還是要看國內各界捐獻，配合菲國政府需求，目前最迫切需要的就是食品、飲水、毛毯與帳棚等物品。

林永樂表示，昨募集物資已經超過100噸，我空軍運輸機已運送15噸物資赴菲，後續運送規劃將配合國防部，儘快把物資運送到菲國災區。

【黃揚明／台北報導】為縮短兩岸服貿協議審議時程，國民黨政策會執行長林鴻池昨表示將在今天下午朝野協商中提出將提議由國民黨團辦完剩下6場公聽會，或讓公聽會與實質審查同時進行。但民進黨籍內政委員會召委段宜康批，林的提議「都是笑話」，因為內政委員會召委會議已達成共識，「應該對我有起碼的尊重！」

段宜康表示，如果他到現在都不排公聽會，國民黨團這樣反應有道理，「但是我不是不排，我是排了，而且有我的節奏來排。」

段宜康強調，因為服貿協議簽訂之前確實草率，連政府內部都不太瞭解，所以不要把這看成是對整個服貿協議生效的拖延，應該看成重新檢視協議的機會，重新檢視之前，不宜說它是好、是不好，這一定有一部份對台灣有利，有一部份讓台灣承受風險。「也有可能我們仔細檢視之後，說不定就不會反對了！」

【鍾裕能／綜合報導】大聯盟年度最佳總教練出爐，國聯由率海盜自1992年來首度拿下國聯冠軍的赫多(Clint Hurdle)出線，美聯則是接任印地安人總教練第1年，就帶隊殺進季後賽的法蘭柯納(Terry Francona)。
 
赫多2007年掌落磯兵符時，也曾角逐過年度最佳總教練，但最終只獲第3名。法蘭柯納帶領紅襪期間，曾兩度拿下世界大賽冠軍，但都未能獲獎，最高的投票名次也未超過4。
 
郝多在30張選票中，壓倒性的獲得25張第1。法蘭柯納則拿到16張第1，並以總分112分擊敗率領紅襪拿下世界大賽冠軍的紅襪教頭法瑞爾(John Farrell )。法瑞爾拿下12張第1，總分96分，他曾是法蘭柯納帶領紅襪時的投手教練。

【鍾裕能／綜合報導】遊騎兵宣布聘請2屆金手套捕手獎得主的莫里納(Bengie Molina)，為一壘指導教練，同時也要指導捕手。
 
班傑是莫里納3兄弟中的大哥，2010年自遊騎兵退休，13年大聯盟生涯，效力過天使、藍鳥、巨人和遊騎兵等隊，曾獲2002、03捕手金手套，也是2002年天使獲世界大賽冠軍時的主戰捕手。
 
今年他在紅雀擔任打擊助理教練，與小弟亞戴爾(Yadier Molina)同隊。老二荷西(Jose Molina)則曾是王建民洋基的隊友，3人都是捕手，且3人都擁有世界大賽冠軍戒指。

【鍾裕能／綜合報導】大聯盟正在召開球團總經理會議，41歲的曼尼(Manny Ramirez)透過經紀人普萊維亞(Barry Praver)表態，明年希望能再挑戰大聯盟，或轉往日本職棒發展。
 
大聯盟生涯敲出555轟的曼尼，日前才傳出中日龍隊補強有意網羅，首席教練森繁和並將利用前往多明尼加的機會，觀察他在冬季聯盟的表現，推測年薪可能在2000至3000萬日元(約596~885萬台幣)之間。如今再透過經紀人放消息，更確定曼尼的意願。
 
曼尼今年台灣曾掀起一股熱潮，出賽49場，留下3成52打擊率、8轟、43打點的紀錄。6月離台後返美，和遊騎兵簽小聯盟合約，但表現不佳，在8月遭到解約。

【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】美國華盛頓有隻狗狗「利伯特」(Liberty)，上周獨自外出散步後，叼了一條人腿回家，卻意外協助警方破獲一起分屍案。

上周二93歲老翁佛老爾(Bill Flowers)原本正打算在花園餵狗，卻意外發現利伯特的身邊，竟然有一條人腿。佛老爾當下一慌，先將人腿放進塑膠袋後，埋在地下。他的女兒得知事情後，立刻報警處理。

警方獲報後，在利伯特身上裝上GPS定位系統，並請利伯特「引路」，但利伯特似乎忘記是在哪撿到人腿。後來靠著專業的警犬帶路，於前天在附近一個空地發現其他殘肢，目前已委請法醫進行驗屍。
