| 新疆首條高鐵 2014年上路

蘭新鐵路第二雙線新疆段正線今天鋪軌完工，代表新疆首條高速鐵路成形，預計明年底通車營運，新疆到北京、上海、廣州可夕發朝至。
新華社報導，中午12時許，地處新疆鄯善縣以東80公里的一處施工現場，最後一組500公尺長鋼軌落入軌枕，蘭新鐵路第二雙線新疆段正線710公里鋪軌完工。
報導指出，全長1776公里的蘭新鐵路第二雙線東起蘭州，途經西寧，西至烏魯木齊，橫跨新疆、甘肅、青海3省區。
其中新疆段正線全長710公里，自甘肅與新疆交界口紅柳河，一路向西，經新疆哈密、鄯善、吐魯番，至新疆維吾爾自治區的首府烏魯木齊。
烏魯木齊鐵路局表示，蘭新鐵路第二雙線將與隴海、蘭渝、包蘭、青藏線連接，在新絲綢之路經濟帶上架起一條快速的鐵路運輸大通道。
蘭新鐵路第二雙線於2009年月11月開工，預計2014年底正式通車後，新疆到北京、上海、廣州的旅行時間將壓縮到現在的1/4，可實現夕發朝至。現有蘭新鐵路複線轉為以貨運為主，鐵路運輸能力將大幅增加。

| 陸媒：陸至少拒絕5國建交請求

北京環球時報今天報導稱，兩岸自2008年停止外交爭奪戰以來，中國大陸至少拒絕了5個國家的建交請求；與此同時，大陸在世界的影響力迅速增加，一些國家因此主動靠近。
西非國家甘比亞當地時間14日宣布與台灣斷交。消息傳出後，引起許多解讀。大陸外交部昨天則表態，事先未與甘比亞接觸，而且是從外媒獲知此事。
此外，據報導，大陸副外長李保東昨天在北京會見台灣前外長歐鴻鍊等人時表示，大陸不會與甘比亞建交。
環球時報在報導中引述非洲媒體分析，「中國在非洲影響力的擴大，顯然成為促成此事的一個重要因素。」
分析說，在「亞洲四小龍」時代，不少非洲國家出於經濟考量倒向台灣，或在大陸與台灣間反覆搖擺；但近年來大陸在非洲影響力與日俱增，原本承認台灣的非洲國家已逐漸減少。
報導分析，從甘比亞的最新舉動中可看出，由於北京在世界的影響力正迅速增加，讓一些國家主動接近。
環球時報並引述分析說，自2008年以來，兩岸非正式暫停了外交爭奪戰，上一個轉而承認北京的國家是2007年的哥斯大黎加。
報導聲稱，大陸當局為了台灣，「壓住了中美洲國家建交的請求」；有大陸專家估計，大陸至少拒絕了5個國家提出建交的請求。

【簡志偉／嘉義報導】「刺繡」在朴子市已成為在地特色，為拓展刺繡文化學習空間，朴子市公所上午在梅嶺美術館舉辦「走繡美學亮朴子」活動，現場有13位模特兒走秀，並提供民眾免費體驗刺繡DIY，同時館內展出100多件內容豐富珍藏繡品。朴子市長王如經說，今年的刺繡成果有別以往，而是請「麻豆」用服裝走秀的方式，傳達刺繡的美，無論是傳統的漢服、走在時尚尖端流行的流行服飾，都能與刺繡巧妙結合，將刺繡融入服裝設計中。

| 大統黑心油改包裝賣？ 中市：全面監督

【曾雪蒨／台中報導】彰化驚傳大統下游廠商因無法退費可能改包裝轉賣，對此台中市衛生局食品藥物科長陳淑惠表示將「引以為戒，全面監督包商，嚴禁改包裝再賣，絕不讓這種情況在台中市發生。」
陳淑惠科長說，台中市這次涉及黑心油風暴中兩家主要油品大廠福懋與福壽公司，都已建立接受下游廠商與消費者下架回收退款機制，其中福懋回收上萬瓶油品早已經運往嘉義改製成生質柴油，至於福壽公司從西班牙進口葡萄籽油添加銅葉綠素疑雲雖仍在調查中，但2011年起到目前進口的20噸葡萄紫油，回收後都封存在福壽公司工廠內，未來等偵查終結也將以福懋模式，轉送製成生質柴油再利用，確保民眾食用安全。
