台中市社會局表示，今年一月一日起調高生育津貼，除了原本就有的單胞胎每胎發一萬元之外，現在起只要生雙胞胎就可領三萬元，三胞胎以上，每胎可領兩萬；舉例，生三胞胎領六萬，生四胞胎領八萬元。副市長徐中雄說，要照顧多胞胎真的不容易，市府為表支持，除提高生育津貼，也針對多胞胎家庭提供喘息服務，一年最多補助二百四十小時。

市府今天上午在北屯區戶政事務所辦此項政策宣導活動，召集多對成雙成對的雙胞胎到場。其中26歲的戴小姐帶著自己一對甫出生三個月大的雙胞胎兒子到場，剛好就能適用今年新政策領到津貼。戴小姐先前已育有兩子，加上這對雙胞胎，等於一戶有四子，引發現場大眾驚嘆，徐中雄得悉後，表示要與她「相見歡」，因為自己也是一門四子的老爸。（黃任膺／台中報導）

花蓮市1名18歲、身材纖瘦的林姓女子，今凌晨零時許下班後徒步到公司後方找男友，行經國聯三路停車場前，遭一名正面走來的男子反手襲臀，林女咒罵：「你摸什麼摸啊？」色男一見不好惹拔腿就跑，心有不甘的林女快找來2名姊妹淘沿途追人，不到10分鐘就在500公尺外的中華國小前攔下色狼，並報警逮人。
 
警方查出色男是1名呂姓少尉軍官，這兩天利用下班時間到市區閒晃，呂男否認襲臀，還嗆說：「拿出證據啊？」但無法解釋為何逃跑？只辯稱：「有急事很忙」警問有何急事？他又答不出來，警方懷疑他另涉多起猥褻案件，訊後先扣在拘留室，清晨再調查釐清。軍方也派人趕到警局關切，與呂男對談20分鐘後，不發一語離去。
 
林女得知色男竟有軍人身分，氣得大罵：「甚麼爛國軍，是這樣保家衛民嗎？」她表示，突然遭陌生人猛力反手抓臀她又羞又氣，立刻找來隔壁打網咖的姊姊與朋友，1人騎車、2人徒步就在附近找人，逮到人才鬆一口氣。記者問林女：「妳不會怕喔」她回說：「沒做錯怕甚麼？壞人就是要受法律制裁啦」（王文傑／花蓮報導）

「不要核四‧五六」運動今晚在自由廣場舉辦靜坐，聲援禁食反核四的民進黨前主席林義雄，數10位藝文界人士到場支持。電影《大稻埕》導演葉天倫在現場朗讀林義雄妻子方素敏，在2000年寫給一雙早夭女兒的家書《寄不出去的悄悄話》，現場不少民眾感動落淚。

葉天倫說，林義雄禁食，每個人都應該站出來，不能眼睜睜看著某個人為了大眾犧牲。

國片《總鋪師》導演陳玉勳也上台，僅簡短強調：「我是人，我反核！」不少民眾也跟著高呼反核口號，現場氣氛平和但堅定。（張勵德／台北報導）
